  ‘DJ’s Scrappin’ Retreats and More’

Imagine three days of nothing to do but work on your scrapbooks—no dishes, laundry or ringing telephones; three days of cropping, relaxing, workshops, and great meals!

Come join us for scrapbooking get-aways where we promise your creativity will run wild!  We provide a time and place for uninterrupted scrapbooking, along with unlimited use of scrappin’ tools* and various workshops.

As one scrapper wrote:  I want to encourage anyone with even the smallest interest in scrapbooking to look into going to one of these retreats. What fun we all had! There was plenty of great help in getting started, or helping with a page you were stuck on. And we had so much fun getting to know each other! I have made several new friends. Jane and Deb really take care of us and work hard to make your scrapbooking weekend as successful as it can be. You can be just an amateur scrapper (me) or an expert scrapper (Verna)! Everyone has a good time at the scrapbook retreat!!”

Besides scrapbooking and all of its amenities, women will leave our retreats invigorated and enthused.  The times, places and workshop titles vary from retreat to retreat—we’d love to have you join us as often as you wish.  Please contact us for brochures or more information.

  • Date: November 12-13-14
  • Place: Suncadia Inn just out of CleEllum, WA.  Check it out at

This is a beautiful and rejuvenating retreat.  Check in by 10:00 a.m. Thursday and scrap until 2:00 p.m. Saturday—that’s 54 hours to scrap, unless you need to sleep!  Due to the lodge logistics (pardon the pun) each room holds six-ten people with beautiful log bunk beds with comfortable mattresses and a private bathroom.  Cost is $325 per person.  This retreat is filling fast and regrettably, the numbers are limited, so if you haven't signed up, please call (509-750-1786) or e-mail (jp@neighborjanepayne.com) us now!  A $100 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot.

Jane Payne, co-facilitator, has been teaching at various workshops, conferences and retreats for 15 years.  Jane says, “It’s vital we don’t let important things slip by while keeping up with the busyness of our lives.  Scrapbooking and retreats are a great combination—a place where we can preserve our legacies while preserving our sanity.  For bargain loving souls like me—that’s a ‘two for one’ deal and I’m proud to be a part of DJ’s Scrappin’ Retreats & More.”

Deb Keeley, co-facilitator, has been involved in the scrapbooking industry for several years and knows her stuff!  She’s been taking pictures and putting them in books since grade school.  Deb’s love of scrapbooking expanded as she taught classes and owned a scrapbooking store for several years.  She still teaches classes in addition to organizing retreats.  Deb says, “I feel scrapbooking is an important passion that preserves lives and history for future generations.  I will always be involved in some part of the scrapbooking industry.”
